The Paisley Anne Suite

The Paisley Anne birth room is more traditional and serene with cool greens and dark woods. The queen size bed is lavishly covered with paisley green comforters and an abundance of pillows. Daddy can sit in the chair next to the bed or crawl in right next to mommy.

This room is named after the birth of Paisley Anne born in February 2007. Her birth was the kind that melts a midwives heart! This was her mama's first pregnancy birth. She labored wonderfully and was triumphant as she birthed her baby girl in the water with me looking on and holding the flashlight. The look on her face was one of sheer joy combined with the power that comes from knowing SHE did it. That's what midwifery is to me! It's not about me catching babies, it's about women coming into motherhood, recognizing their strength and falling in love all over again.
